LAND at Achiltibuie in Wester Ross with views of the Summer Isles has gone on the market.
The former hydroponics site – where crops were grown without soil – has planning permission for four houses, with offices or workshops.
The 3.26-acre strip of coast is on sale for offers over £395,000.
Emily Watson, property agent at Goldcrest Land & Forestry Group, which is marketing the land, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit a property developer or someone interested in creating a holiday letting business.
“The site sits in a stunning west coast location and offers magical ever-changing views to the Outer Hebrides, the mountains of Coigach and Assynt to the north and east, and the Fannich and Torridon hills to the south.”
The three proposed holiday cottages have been designed by Billy Reynolds of Reynolds Architecture.
Watson added: “It is well placed for those with outdoorsy interests from geology to fishing, climbing, and sailing.
“It is also rich in wildlife including many birds of prey, red deer, puffins, otters, dolphins, whales, and seals.”
As well as its views of the Summer Isles, the site also leads down to a pebble beach of Badentarbert Bay.
