Hamilton & Inches launches ‘Flora’ worn by Duchess of Rothesay

JEWELLER Hamilton & Inches has launched its Flora collection, including earrings made famous by Catherine, Duchess of Rothesay.

The Duchess wore the Flora drop earrings made from 18-carat yellow gold during her tour of Scotland last year.

The updated collection puts a fresh take on the original design and includes bangles, pendants, and rings alongside the earrings.

Victoria Houghton, chief executive at Hamilton & Inches, said: “Our original Flora collection allowed us to introduce a new generation to everything Hamilton & Inches has to offer.

“We’ve since decided to revisit the collection and create a new line, which has once again been meticulously designed and created by our talented team of craftspeople.

“The timeless pieces within the collection ensure style longevity, while adding a touch of luxe and elegance to any outfit or bridal moment.”

The firm said that the collection was inspired by the courtyard that once stood on the site of its Edinburgh showroom.

The company was founded in 1866 by by Robert Kirk Inches and his uncle, James Hamilton, and moved to its George Street site in 1952.
