Enjoy a festive tipple at the Bothy Bar

The Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar has officially opened its doors for the festive season and is the perfect place to raise a glass this Christmas.

Located on the Mound in the heart of Edinburgh’s Christmas, the Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar spans two floors, and will be serving up a host of delicious drinks all the way through to the new year.

Visitors can choose from two highball serves, perfect for whisky lovers and novices alike. The classic Johnnie & Ginger combines the subtle smoky notes of Johnnie Walker Black Label with the warming spice of ginger, while the Johnnie & Elderflower provides a refreshing spin on Scotland’s national drink.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a hot toddy, and the Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar will also be serving up two warming options; the Johnnie Walker Hot Apple Toddy and the Blood Orange Hot Toddy. With fruity flavours and gentle citrus spice perfectly paired with the whisky, both make for a fitting night cap – guaranteed to keep the cold at bay.

Transformed into a traditional winter lodge, the Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar is complete with fairy lights, a toasty fire and cosy nooks, making it a great place to celebrate with friends this Christmas.

The Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar is open until 4 January 2020, serving from 10am–10pm daily.
