Delicious food was always going to be the career path for the owners of the Tolbooth Seafood Restaurant in Stonehaven harbour.
Eddie Abbott has been running the eaterie for the last 10 years.
According to Eddie’s mum he was always destined to run a seafood restaurant: while she could never persuade his sisters to eat fish, he was a massive fan and she struggled to get him to eat anything else.
Now he’s surrounded by piscatorial delights on a daily basis and with just a small team in the kitchen, the Tolbooth does around 250-300 covers a week, although over the summer this rises to 450 covers.
This recipe was originally published in July 2017.
