Edinburgh group is UK Salon of the Year at beauty awards

Edinburgh-based salon group Zen Lifestyle is celebrating having been crowned the UK’s Salon of the Year at the prestigious Professional Beauty Awards – the Oscars of the beauty industry.

The national awards are the most prestigious and established in the country for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets.

Zen Lifestyle beat off competition from around the UK at the annual awards ceremony impressing the judges on the salon group’s commitment to innovation, customer service and industry leading training programmes to ensure highly skilled and motivated therapists.

This accolade follows on from Zen winning both Large Salon of the Year and Boutique Salon of the Year in the Scottish awards in October 2017.

Zen Lifestyle owner and founder Fiona Fowley said: ‘The Professional Beauty Awards are undoubtedly the ultimate industry accolade.

Zen won UK Boutique Beauty Salon of the Year for being a small salon that thinks big, with exciting ideas and polished services that competes on a grand scale.

Zen also won UK Large Beauty Salon of the Year because whilst being a large business it still focuses on the finer details and provides a truly personalised service to every client, making them feel like they are the only person that matters, no matter how thriving the business.

Zen Lifestyle, which revealed a revitalised new look following a £24,000 investment at the end of 2016 and celebrates 18 years in the industry, has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 1999.
