Who needs a gym when you have Scotland?
That’s the message the back page of The Kilted Coaches: How to Stick to the Damn Plan, as it encourages people to get fit using the country’s natural resources.
The pair behind this book know what they’re talking about, having created hundreds of videos, garnered thousands of followers and millions of views, so authors Stephen Clarke and Rab Shields have a cult following with their physiques.
The book is a characteristically Scottish blend of advice and banter, were the authors channel their years of experience as life coaches and weight loss experts into bite-sized nuggets of advice designed to build confidence, positivity and ultimately that elusive future self.
Always down to earth (sometimes very literally), they demonstrate that whoever you are, wherever you are, you can win each day – there’s some basic advice that’s easy to follow, even in the present world where we’re being bombarded with thousands of messages each day, often subliminally.
Here, their advice is simple – focus on what you do have, and not what you don’t, as it aims to encourage us all to be the best person we can be.
The Kilted Coaches: How to Stick to the Damn Plan, by Stephen Clarke and Rab Shields, published by Luath £14.99.
