Preview: King’s Panto – Goldilocks and The Three Bears

It is tantalisingly close to the most wonderful time of the year…

While a debate between those who put their Christmas tree up before December 1st and those who don’t has been running riot across my social media channels (FYI anytime before December 1st is wrong) – there is one thing that the whole nation can agree on (Hurrah! I hear you say).

And that is that nothing puts you more in the mood for the festive season than the age old tradition of heading to the panto!

Next week I’m going to THE panto in town – Edinburgh to be precise – King’s Panto: Goldilocks and the Three Bears. To say I’m excited would be almost as big an understatement as saying Kanye West is a confident fella.

I’ve always loved a trip to the theatre and especially when it involves as many guaranteed belly laughs and sparkles as The King’s panto productions. What makes it even better this year is that Andy Gray has returned to his panto home after a year out due to ill health. I personally can’t wait to see the incomparable trio that is Allan Stewart, Andy Gray and Grant Stott back in action.

After seeing last year’s Beauty and the Beast and being positively amazed by the ambitious sets, I’m expecting big things from what is sure to be a laugh-a-minute take on a wee blonde girl who breaks into a family’s (albeit bears) home and eats their food.
