My son and I stopped into The Manna House Bakery in South Queensferry for lunch on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. There were a huge range of savoury options – pasta bakes, paninis and wholesome soups, all served with a selection of tasty breads.
I chose the vegetarian pasta option while my son opted for a croissant & jam. The service was faultless.
The drinks were served within minutes of placing the order and the food followed shortly after.

The pasta was delicious, if a little too much and was the perfect choice on such a miserable day. Unfortunately I didn’t have room for dessert afterwards but there was a huge selection of homemade cakes on offer.
This is a lovely little place with friendly staff, a great menu and stunning views across the Forth.
We will definitely be going back again.
