Stack & Still to open their third pancake place

Stack & Still, the UK’s largest urban pancake and licensed bar venue has today announced plans for their third opening at Glasgow Fort shopping centre next month.

The third opening announcement comes hot on the heels of the pancake brand’s Silverburn launch just eight weeks ago.

Stack & Still opened their first city centre branch on 11th Oct 2018 serving over half a million pancakes in their first 6 months. Their second site at Silverburn opened in July 2019 serving over 12,000 tables in the first four weeks.  Stack & Still has over 120 employees across both branches and is an accredited living wage employer and will be recruiting all staff at Glasgow Fort on living wage.

The pancake pioneers will be bringing their legendary ten million pancake combo menu to Glasgow Fort next month. Customers can expect the well loved signature stacks to be appearing on the menu including the Pulled Pork & Chorizo Stack plus sweet favourites such as The Salted Caramel & Banana and Nutella & Mascarpone stacks.

For those looking for healthier options Stack & Still also offers several lighter choices including buckwheat, sugar free, protein, gluten free or vegan stacks.

Stack & Still is the most recent brand launch from Glasgow entrepreneur Paul Reynolds who is joined by Director Graham Swankie in the Stack & Still brand roll out. Paul is an astute business leader with a track record in creating innovative service focussed concepts with the the multi-award winning Gin Spa, Gin71 and Cup venues already under his belt.

Paul Reynolds said: ‘To be opening our third venue in the Glasgow area within 12 months is a true testament to how well the pancake concept has been received by the public. Glasgow is our home city and the customer demand has been extremely strong. Expansion is very much part of our strategy and we are looking forward to a busy second half across all of the Stack & Still sites.

‘We offer fresh tasty stacks in a fun vibrant environment, and it’s something that resonates with all age groups from young families to couples and friends looking for an alternative dining experience that still delivers on taste, quality and value for money.

‘Glasgow Fort is the perfect choice for the third Stack & Still site; it’s convenient for parking, has a great array of shops and an existing portfolio of brilliant food options plus it has the advantage of being open until 10pm through the week. We are looking forward to joining the team and to getting our doors open in time for the October school break and the Christmas shopping period.’

Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort said: ‘Stack & Still will make a welcome addition to the growing range of brands here at Glasgow Fort, and we’re thrilled to have them join.

‘They offer a great menu, with something a little different to the great dining options we have here already, and we wish them the very best of luck.’

The Stack & Still Glasgow Fort branch will offer 2 for 1 stacks on Tuesdays after 3pm, great tasting bottomless coffee, and kids eat free all day.  Ts and Cs apply.
