They are giving to a great cause this Pancake Tuesday

A Scottish restaurant is to donate 100 per cent of their takings on Pancake Tuesday to a Scottish children’s charity.

Child poverty in Glasgow and the West of Scotland is at its highest and last year Radio Clyde Cash for Kids supported over 135,000 children, ensuring children living in some of the most disadvantaged areas received food and activities throughout the school holidays.

Stack & Still, which opened with staggering success in October 2018 , will now give them their profits.

Paul Reynolds, co-owner of Stack & Still, said: ‘We are very much a family friendly destination with children at the forefront of our mind and our menus. This week we have had the pleasure of hosting a group of the children who directly benefit from the charity and we are delighted to be able to give something back.

‘Pancake Tuesday is set to be one of our busiest days of the year soit seemed like logical choice in terms of kicking off our fundraising activity.’

Debbie Fraser, regional charity manager for Radio Clyde Cash for Kids said: ‘We are delighted that Stack & Still have chosen us as their charity partner and this is such an amazing gesture. The money raised from their Pancake Tuesday event will go towards supporting children and young people in our local communities during the Easter school holidays.’

Stack & Still is the latest venture from Glasgow-based entrepreneur Paul Reynolds and has created over 50 new jobs for the city.

Stack & Still is proud to be a committed Living Wage employer and currently includes a full service charge on all bills that is transferred to all employees in a transparent process on top of their Living Wage hourly rate.
