Boxing Day launch for Tom Kitchin’s charity pizza

Award-winning Civerinos restaurant collection in Edinburgh have teamed up with renowned chef Tom Kitchin to design a one-off limited edition pizza, The Truffle Shuffle.

All for an amazing cause, with all proceeds of the speciality pizza going to North East Edinburgh food bank.

Officially launching on 26 December in Civerinos Slice until 5 January, both Civerinos and Tom Kitchin have come together to give back to a very close charity within their local community that they both feel very passionate about.

Edinburgh North East Foodbank helps local people in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

This particular charity is so close to their hearts as it directly affects family to friends of friends within the local community. They both share the same love for their neighbourhood and are delighted to come together to help raise money and awareness of the North East Edinburgh Foodbank.

The Truffle Shuffle is an exclusive pizza created by Tom Kitchin in collaboration with Civerinos and is a white pizza with 100% fior di latte mozzarella on Civerinos’ New York-style 72 hour proven pizza dough.

Michele Civiera, owner of the Civerinos restaurant collection, added: ‘We are delighted to work together to give back to the North East Edinburgh Foodbank which I personally feel so strongly about and is a huge part of our local community. It’s a great opportunity for us to come together with Tom Kitchin to raise awareness and to give back to the charity especially at this time of year.’
