The Scottish Land Commission has added two new staff members in order to help achieve their goals.
The growing organisation, which was established in April 2017 in accordance with the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016, hopes that the new additions will add experience to their team.
The two new policy officers, Katherine Pollard and James Mackessack-Leitch both have already worked in similar roles previously.

The Land Commission’s chief executive Hamish Trench said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Katherine and James to the Land Commission. They will play a key role in delivering our programme of work and Strategic Plan.’
The Inverness-based organisation is made up of five Land Commissioners and one Tenant Farming Commissioner seeks to manage issues over land ownership, land rights and use of land.
They also look to improve the relations between land owners and tenant farmers.
Mr Trench added: ‘This is an exciting time for the Land Commission and adding to the wealth of skills and knowledge the team has will help us successfully work towards making more of Scotland’s land.’
