Visitors to a Christmas fair in Dumfries can do their Christmas shopping and give the best gift money can buy – a subscription to Scottish Field.
Scottish Field’s Leona Clark will be at the Dumfries Christmas Fair, which is being held on November 13, from 4-7.30pm, and Tuesday, November 14, from 10am-3.30pm.
Taking place in the Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries, new subscribers to Scottish Field can get a free luxury gift with their subscriptions (Glenkinchie Whisky, Edinburgh Gin or Beatitude Aromatherapy Candle).
As well as the various stalls, the fair will be supporting two deserving charities.
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer and leukaemia charity, CLIC Sargent is committed to providing care and support to young people and their families. The donation is going specifically towards the Homes from Home Scheme in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes is a charitable organisation set up by local volunteers to deliver
essential blood and urgent medical supplies 24 hours a day 365 days a year between hospitals and healthcare sites in south west Scotland and throughout the UK. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and is free of charge to the NHS.
A huge variety of Christmas gifts will be on sale, with bespoke crafted items, tasty delicacies, beautiful jewellery, works of art, clothing and much, much more.
Entry on Monday is £6, which includes a cocktail from Demijohn and nibbles, or tea and coffee. The restaurant will be open for wine and snacks.
Then on Tuesday, entry is £4. The restaurant will be open for coffee and lunches.
There is free parking with disabled access.
Entrance fees and 10 per cent of stallholders’ takings will be shared between the charities.
