ICE cream maker Mackie’s has joined forces with Crieff Hydro Hotel to create what could be the ultimate festive flavour.
Their turkey and cranberry ice cream will be served to visitors at the hotel’s Glen’s Adventure Park.
A gingerbread crumble flavour has also be created.
Richard Leckie, manager at the park, he said: “Turkey and cranberry ice cream is something I have certainly never tried before and I am sure it will capture the imagination of our visitors this Christmas.”
Karin Mackie, marketing director at Mackie’s, added: “While the turkey and cranberry ice cream is unlikely to be hitting freezer aisles any time soon, we’d love to know what visitors think.”
Meanwhile, ice cream maker Equi’s has enlisted the help of a Christmas fairy for its latest promotion.
The company will give away hundreds of tubs of ice cream on 16 December to nominees from Glasgow and the surrounding area.
Alex Equi, marketing assistant at Equi’s, said: “Christmas is about giving and we wanted to spread some much needed festive cheer across the Central Belt.”
