THE Dundas Street Gallery in Edinburgh is hosting a pop-up for Greengallery from Buchlyvie in Stirlingshire on 1-4 December.
Greengallery, which also has a gallery in Dollar, was founded 30 years ago, and specialises in Scottish paintings, ceramics, jewellery, and sculptures.
Artists with work on display at the Christmas exhibition include Stuart Buchanan, Erraid Gaskell, Simon Lawrie, Lex MacFayden, Mhairi McGregor, Catriona Millar, Nikki Monaghan, and Rob Mulholland.
Greengallery will be working with Edinburgh-based lighting and home furnishing firm Cotterell & Co.
The exhibits will be set up to demonstrate how to hang paintings in a home, showing which lights and furniture work with images and frames.
Becky Walker, Greengallery’s owner, who often works with interior designers, said: “Buying art can be daunting for many people and finding the right pieces can be a challenge.
“It’s a problem-solving project and I really enjoy getting involved with that.
“I never want to choose the easy options, instead I like to create a mixture of work that complements the décor and fits with the kind of people that live there.”
