Charity art events are taking place next month, as artists and designers do their bit for cancer care charities.
Coburg House Studios in Leith are organising a fundraising exhibition, which will feature works created and curated specifically for this exhibition.
There will be jewellery, textiles, painting, ceramics, illustration and more, with 50% from the sale of any item in the shop or gallery being donated directly to select cancer charities.
Alongside the exhibition Cogburg House Studios will be running workshops and a brilliant raffle with pieces donated by the Coburg artists and designers.
Kaz Robertson, shop and gallery co-ordinator, said: ‘At Coburg House, we have so appreciated the help and support given to friends and families affected by cancer.
‘We are hosting this special fundraising exhibition in honour of the friends we have lost, and to allow us to give something back to those who supported them so graciously.
‘Our exhibition will feature works created and curated specifically for this exhibition, with 50% from the sale of any item in our shop or gallery being donated directly to select cancer charities.’
They will also be running a selection of workshops and events:
- 4 April, 11am-1pm and 2-4pm, Make an Angel with recycled tin with Bryony Knox;
- 5 April, 11am-1pm and 2-4pm, Beaded Jewellery for Kids with Simone Nolden;
- 11 April, 1- 3pm, Wild Knitting with Madeleine Shepherd;
