We all know that Scotland is the most beautiful country in the world – and Argyll is up there with the best.
Wyvex Media Group, publishers of Scottish Field, has joined forces with the Argyll and the Isles Tourism Cooperative (AITC) to launch #myargyll.
This social media campaign is designed to showcase all that is glorious about Argyll.
Using the hashtag #myargyll, anyone who has experienced the wonders of the region is encouraged to share their videos, photographs, poetry or stories encapsulating what makes Argyll so special.
Submitted content can then be viewed on a special social wall at www.myargyll.co.uk.
To make sure your content is shared, we recommended that you use Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to share content. Just make sure you use the hashtag #myargyll and that your privacy settings are set to public.
Calum Ross, the chair of AITC, board member of VisitScotland and owner of Loch Melfort Hotel, said: ‘Having travelled most of the world before settling here I can honestly say it’s the most amazing place in the world to live and work. And even if I wasn’t doing what I do now,
I would still want to live here.
‘Argyll has so many special places and for me. Mull has to be one of my favourites. We holiday there every year – eight years now and every time we find something new to do or visit.
‘Favourite thing with the family? A long walk through amazing countryside to a stunning, often secluded, white sand beach! Great seafood restaurants and bars to relax in in the evening. What could be better?’
Taking part in #myargyll has someting to offer readers of Scottish Field, as Wyvex Media and AITC, through our partners, The Machrie, Ardnahoe Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, The Harbour Inn, Islay Sea Adventures and Hebridean Air Services, are running a competition to win a completely priceless, money-can’t-buy prize for the content that best captures the essence of Argyll.
