Make it a personalised gift from the Clydeside Distillery

A new Glasgow whisky distillery has introduced a new feature for visitors to its Clydeside location.

The Clydeside Distillery has introduced a ‘label your own’ bottle service.

This unique personalised bottle will give visitors the chance to take away a unique and lasting reminder of their whisky experience, and could make the perfect gift for those looking to give something different to a friend or relative this year.

Visitors, tourists and whisky enthusiasts have the choice of three different bottles of 10-year-old whiskies which they can label.

The Islay, Lowland and Highland expressions are part of the distillery tour and each have their own characteristics and tasting notes. Visitors can handwrite a bespoke label with their, or a loved one’s, details – making for a truly special memento from their visit and a stunning gift.

Bridgeen Mullen, the visitor centre manager, said: ‘A personalised bottle of whisky really is the perfect keepsake to remember your visit to the Clydeside Distillery.

‘No matter the occasion, whether a gift for a loved one or simply a personal souvenir, our label your own bottle service adds another unique element to our visitor experience and is something to treasure.’

The three 70cl bottles are priced at £30 for the Lowland and Highland and £35 for the Islay and can be purchased either as part of a distillery tour or individually from the distillery shop.

Guests taking a distillery tour are eligible for a 5% discount of the label your own bottle price.

Since opening its doors to the public in November, the distillery has filled over 400 casks to date with new make spirit which are now maturing until they ready in three or four years, when they will be available to purchase.
